Department of Biology offers an MS Program with two streams of specialization: Molecular & Cell Biology and Bioinformatics. These programs comprise of a modern curriculum including Molecular & Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Signaling, Genetics and Genomics, Advanced Methods in Biology and Computational Biology for MCB stream; and Biostatistics, Computational Biology, Topics in System Biology, Advanced Methods in Biology, Protein Informatics and Computational Genomics for the Bioinformatics stream.

The purpose of the MS in Electrical Engineering is to attain theoretical and practical depth in one of the areas of interest. The students enrolled in the MS EE programme would have to specialise in one of the given areas of specialisation according to the guidelines in the programme handbook.

The MS in Computer Science programme aims at developing professionals who are equipped with skills to cope with the diverse and ever changing field of CS. The programme provides students with a solid theoretical foundation along with knowledge of latest trends in specialised areas.

The Department of Economics at LUMS offers a two track MS Economics programme after 16 years of education. The MS Economics programme has been designed to set new standards in graduate level Economics education in Pakistan and to meet the growing need for well-trained economists in both the public and the private sectors.

The MBA programme is an intense, demanding academic experience, involving two years of full-time study. The programme develops business managers who can provide leadership at any level in an increasingly global economy. The two-year programme is based on a collection of Core and Elective courses which are taught in a case method based style. MBA programme is an experiential learning process which is based on practical application of reflective learning process in an entrepreneurial environment.

The MS degree program in Mathematics at Lahore University of Management Sciences is designed to prepare students for professional careers in industry and academia. The curriculum is intended for individuals with a strong background in Mathematics.
