Ms. Madiha Tallat did her BA.LLB from LUMS Shaikh Ahmad Hassan School of Law and LLM from UC Berkeley School of Law. Her research interests include international humanitarian law, internal displacement, and social justice.

Before LUMS, Ms. Tallat was the Co-Founder of Pakistan’s first all-female animation studio, Jugnu Films, which focused on issue-based and social justice-centric content development. She is a co-recipient of a National Geographic grant for a film-making on female agricultural and domestic workers in Pakistan.   

Previously, Ms. Tallat  has worked with the International Commission of jurists, the American Bar Association’s Rule of Law Initiative, and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. She also consults the Government of Pakistan on issues related to refugee rights and prison reforms.
