Saima is a Business Management instructor with over 20 years of experience, specializing in the design industry with a focus on entrepreneurship, marketing, and merchandising of textiles, jewelry, and fashion. Saima has also served as the Head of Operations and Consultant for Learning and Development at the LUMS Centre for Entrepreneurship (LCE) for the past three and a half years. Now stepping to the other side of entrepreneurship she has recently founded a climate change company.
Throughout her career, she has taken on diverse roles, including instructor, juror, entrepreneurial coach, thesis supervisor, and product developer. Her expertise lies in designing course outlines and executing them through case-based teaching. Saima is an ISW (Instructional Skills Workshop) certified instructor. She has also worked as a management consultant and project lead for organizations such as UNESCO, GIZ, and the US State Department.
Before her active teaching career, Saima co-authored case studies as part of her research role at LUMS. She is also the recipient of the ACEEU ‘Entrepreneurship Educator of the Year - 2024’ award for the Asia Pacific region, as well as the LUMS Vice Chancellor’s Alumni Achievement Award.
