On February 25, 2017, alumni of the Shaikh Ahmad Hassan School of Law (SAHSOL) assembled at the Asifa Irfan Moot Court Room and formally resolved to launch the LUMS Law Alumni Association.

    SAHSOL was a time of learning, growth and fun. We had some of the best professors at LUMS that time.

    How do you think your time at SAHSOL prepare you for your professional career?

    Our professors gave us a world class legal education, sharpened and honed our analytical skills, they also instilled in us a work rthic which to this day has kept me in good stead, dealt patiently with a sometimes unruly class and did it all with good humor.

    The law school offered a dynamic curriculum and provided us with an opportunity to build a tightly knit intellectually curious community.

    There were a few courses at SAHSOL which drove my research interests (and in turn set the foundation for my JSD).

    What is the best career advice you have ever gotten?

    Accept responsibility for mistakes (there will be many) and share credit for accomplishments.
