A Talk on Medical Negligence in Pakistan in Collaboration between Shaikh Ahmad Hassan School of Law (SAHSOL) and Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital (SKMH).

On Wednesday, 3rd August 2022, the Shaikh Ahmad Hassan School of Law was joined by Advocate Mr Aneel Sagar, Head of Legal Advisory in Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital to deliver a talk on ‘Medical Negligence in Pakistan’. The talk was organized by Dr Faiza Ismail, Assistant Professor at SAHSOL. Mr Sagar explored the prospects and challenges for medical law in Pakistan. He walked law students with the existing legal issues and malpractices in the medical field. In addition, several law challenges for doctors and surgeons along with legal protections and remedies for patients were discussed. He engaged law students in resolving real life case studies to give better understanding of medical law disputes and its legal aspect in Pakistan.
